Neutek Recommend ("the App") provides intelligent product recommendation features to help Shopify merchants engage shoppers and drive sales. This privacy policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when merchants install and use the App.

Information we collect

Product information: The App accesses product details (titles, descriptions, tags, vendor and other product metadata) from the merchant's Shopify store.
Order line items: The App processes order line items in order to generate product recommendations (e.g., frequently bought together, trending products).

We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) about customers, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing/shipping addresses, or payment details.

How we use information

The information we process is used exclusively to:

Generate intelligent product recommendations (similar products, frequently ordered together, trending items, cart-based recommendations, and recently viewed items).
Improve shopper engagement and help merchants increase sales.
Enhance and optimize merchant stores by providing accurate, data-driven suggestions.

We do not sell, rent, or share any store data with third parties.

Data storage & security

The App only processes product and order line item data necessary to generate recommendations.
No PII is collected, stored, or processed.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Sharing of information

We do not share, sell, or disclose merchant or customer data to third parties.

Data retention

Product and order line item data are retained only as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality.
Since no PII is collected, there is no retention of customer-identifiable information.
Merchants can uninstall the App at any time, which revokes our access to store data.

Merchant & customer rights

As merchants control their Shopify stores, they can:

Remove the App at any time, immediately revoking our access to store data.
Contact us to request clarification on how product and order data is processed.

Since no customer PII is collected, there are no customer records to access, modify, or delete.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We encourage merchants to review this page periodically.
